PrideNow is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager for one our automotive supplier clients in Georgetown, KY. This is a direct hire position with full time benefits.
Salary Range: $60k-$80k dependent on years of experience
Shift: 7am-4pm *must be flexible to be on-call and work OT/weekends as needed*
Position Summary
Responsible for directing all companywide activities needed to maintain production equipment to minimize downtime, maximize productivity and provide for safe operation. Effectively repairs broken equipment and tools in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Determine and document the proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for production and facility equipment.
• Manage completion of preventive maintenance tasks to schedule. Including modifications to schedules based on findings during preventive maintenance tasks or breakdown instances.
• Maintain and manage asset listing for all equipment
• Maintain an orderly and adequate spare parts inventory to facilitate on time preventive maintenance task completion and to minimize breakdown downtime.
• Confirm that daily process inspection sheets (DPIS) are correct and adequate. Ensure tasks are being completed properly and to schedule.
• Ensure proper inventory reorder points and reorder quantities for spare parts, maintenance material and general production supplies.
• Manage purchase of spare parts, tools, and material while closely tracking departmental budget.
• Maintain organized records and files:
o Equipment Manuals
o Spare Parts List for Each Piece of Equipment
o Spare Parts Master Inventory List – Item, Part Number, Vendor, and Cost
o Preventive Maintenance Schedules and Completion Status
o Work Order Schedule and Completion Status
o Individual Equipment Breakdown and Repair Cost History
• Maintain planning communication board for the Maintenance area and review and assign daily goals with maintenance team members.
• Develop hiring plan and manage manpower according to budget
• Ensure 5S of workshop and spare parts area.
• Understand and adhere to all Federal, State, and Local regulations as they apply to Plant Operation (OSHA, Right to Know, Stormwater, Lock Out / Tag Out, etc.).
• Ensure safety related inspections are carried out to meet OSHA and other Governmental requirements (ie. Crane Inspections)
• Maintain KPI's for: o Number of Downtime Instances
o Downtime Hours
o Preventive Maintenance Tasks Completed to Schedule
o Work Order On-Time Completion – Time to close
o Performance to Departmental Budget
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Ability to read machine blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Thorough knowledge of Electrical codes.
• Ability to safely and efficiently use a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Basic welding skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with all employees, as well as vendors.
• Proficient in math.
• Ability to use computers and applicable software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at a basic level).
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and complete the required repairs / modifications to resolve issues quickly and completely.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and man lifts in a safe and legal manner.
Physical Demands
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds (occasionally).
• Must be able to stand for extended period of time.
• Must be able to squat, crawl and kneel to complete maintenance tasks.

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3+ years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibility
• Manages the Maintenance department
