Kinsa is recruiting for a: Maintenance Manager - Frozen Food Location: Lubbock, TX (Onsite) Our client is a frozen food manufacturer based in Lubbock, TX. The Maintenance Manager will develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Overseeing a team of 7 supervisors and technicians, you will plan and execute improvements to production processes, methods and controls, as well as coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products.
- Successful candidates MUST HAVE 5 years of experience in Maintenance Management of a food or beverage manufacturing plant.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $100,000 - $125,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
- Identifying repetitive equipment failures and determining the root cause of ongoing equipment failures.
- Initiate and carry out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
- Design, develop and test and/or sources and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Develop capital expenditure budgets, expense budgets, and manning plans, working closely with production, finance, and all other departments.
- Ensure departmental compliance with policies of the company and all regulatory agencies such as USDA, and adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards and building codes.
- Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Able to manage multiple projects and large equipment installations involving maintenance technicians, outside contractors and running committee meetings on safety and quality.
- Strong progressive leadership and team development skills are essential.
- Strong budgetary skills and strategic management skills are required.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred, but strong relevant experience is acceptable.
