Follow us on LinkedIn.ROLE SUMMARYThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing, scheduling, troubleshooting, and performing all maintenance and repair activities to machinery, systems, and equipment within the facility. Performs a variety of maintenance functions in and around the facility, which includes providing routine, emergency, and scheduled maintenance to the building and associated equipment. The Maintenance Manager will perform manual tasks, preventative maintenance and maintain the facility in top condition, while assisting others on the team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*Responsible for ensuring all machinery, equipment systems and facility maintenance requirements are kept clean and functional daily.*Develop and check that all scheduled tasks are completed during room flips to maintain clean room conditions.*Monitor common areas of the facility keeping them safe and clean from construction debris, garbage and waste inside the facility, yard, and parking lots.*Inspect, repair, or replace parts and equipment such as fans, dehumidifiers, lights, doors, etc.*Keep records of all preventative maintenance for all systems and equipment.*Monitor and service all ventilation equipment.*Arrange, assemble, and install irrigation systems.*Utilize, maintain, and catalogue power tools and other job-related tools.*Conduct visual inspections inside and outside the facility daily.*Perform basic plumbing repairs.*Report damages, defects and create recommendations for replacement/repair to Director of Operations for approval.*Inspect equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained. *Coordinate with management to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance of all AC units and dehumidifiers through the facility. *Maintain a clean and organized work environment. *Take instruction and assist with tasks delegated by the management team. *Oversee adherence to compliance with health and safety standards and company policies and procedures.QUALIFICATIONS*High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent*2+ years maintenance or HVAC experience*Ability to follow directions and established procedures*Maintains stable performance under pressure*Communicate clearly, proactively, and concisely with all managementSKILLS / INTERESTS*Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license*Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work. Work effectively with minimal supervision*Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills*Must have entrepreneurial skills and experience*Must possess an inquisitive and creative mind*Ability to build good relationships. There will be frequent contact with internal and external people, either face to face or by telephone or email*Teamwork- collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and serviceSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has supervisory responsibilities. WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position operates in cultivation and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses cultivation processing equipment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable with heights (25+feet high). This position also requires periods of standing, walking, bending and other physical demands. Attention to detail is also very important in this position.POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis position sometimes requires long hours and may be required to work some weekends. Typical hours are TBD.
