MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's Degree is an absolute requirement
• 5 years of experience in a maintenance manager position (must come from a Distribution Center or Manufacturing facility or Fulfillment Center)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• CMMS experience - (computerized maintenance management system, what systems do they have?)
• Experience creating and managing large capital projects and budget

PLUS:

• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred - responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety of the system.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client in the Detroit, MI area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a 250,000 square foot fulfillment center. The successful candidate will manage the entire maintenance department, develop, and execute budgets, and develop/manage capital projects and ensure the safety and efficiency of all maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include overseeing various equipment maintenance (MHE, chargers, batteries, dock equipment, racking, plumbing, electrical, truck yard, chilled water and refrigeration system), supervising 4 hourly employees while attending operations and safety meetings, managing contract services, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
