POSITION: Maintenance Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
SHIFT: Day Shift (Overseeing All 3 Shifts)
SALARY: 130K-180K Depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee the supervision, training, and technical support of all maintenance supervisors. Develop preventative and predictive maintenance programs, diagnose equipment breakdowns, and minimize downtime through personal efforts or subordinate staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the supervisory staff responsible for maintaining production, packaging, receiving, and shipping equipment, as well as facilities maintenance, including grounds keeping, building repairs, and utilities.
- Establish and direct planner and scheduler activities.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspect completed work for adherence to standards, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure maintenance schedules and repair estimates align with assignment estimates.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
- Adjust work procedure policies to meet repair schedules.
- Supervise planning and activities for new equipment installations.
- Organize and maintain critical departmental reports, including maintenance downtime, inventory levels, safety records, work order efficiency, and labor.
- Maintain work schedule compliance records.
- Develop a dynamic PM, work order, and maintenance program.
- Ensure USDA compliance through scheduling and maintenance of PIP work.
- Maintain equipment and safety records.
- Administer budgets according to goals and objectives.
- Establish Personnel Management Agreements at supervisory and team member levels.
- Develop a skills assessment program based on individual strengths.
- Implement changes in working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency.
- Champion and maintain a root cause analysis program for equipment failures.
- Ensure equipment repair records are maintained in MP2.
- Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in food manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, PLCs, refrigeration, boilers, and facility maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a successful history of managing maintenance teams.
- Flexibility to work across multiple shifts and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience overseeing multiple locations.
- Familiarity with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems).
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment (FDA/USDA regulated).
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are advantageous.
