The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all activities related to the repair and replacement of equipment and facilities that support the organization's production operations. This person will also develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the maintenance management plan to improve uptime and minimize costs.
- Evaluate building systems to determine work assignments and project timelines.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Creating budget estimates and managing costs for repair projects.
- Lead a team of technicians to perform tasks such as inspections, cleaning, lubrication, servicing, repairs, and parts replacement.
- Optimize workforce and equipment utilization to meet maintenance objectives.
- Identify the need for new tools, equipment, or methods to enhance maintenance processes.
- Provide training for machine operators and maintenance staff to improve equipment reliability.
- Plan and manage the maintenance budget while monitoring expenses.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and tools through forecasting, ordering, and inventory management.
- Create and optimize the organization's maintenance management plan to enhance uptime and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and external service providers to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, internal, and industry standards.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel while ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, focusing on process efficiency and waste reduction.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of Maintenance supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Experienced with PLC programming
