Examples of duties:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely repair and upkeep of all industrial equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the maintenance team.
• Oversee contractor services for major repairs or installations.
• Oversee and optimize automated production systems, including PLCs, robotics, and other control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
• Monitor and analyze data from automated systems to improve equipment performance and identify potential failures.
• Manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and inventory for parts and equipment, including automated machinery.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC systems, and automation technologies (robotics, HMIs, etc.).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and automation monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize both manual and automated maintenance processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to industrial and automated systems maintenance.
