Seeking a strong Maintenance Manager/Leader for a Distribution Center in the Chambersburg PA area.Essential Functions of the job:--Ensure all preventive maintenance in a new DC is assigned, done and documented in the CMMS.--Assign work orders to mechanics each day--Work of any emergency downtime-related issues. Work to keep downtime as low as possible.--Ensure facilities are safe. Play a major role to ensure the safety of associates.--Assist with any capital improvement projects for the facility-mainly set up of the facility--Be hands-on and assist with any breakdowns and PM's as needed--Help manage any outside vendors and ensure they meet contractor safety guidelines--Be part of the management team for the facilityDesired Skills and Education:--Prefer a degree in something technical, but appropriate work experience with suffice--Need someone with at least 7-10 years in maintenance roles with at least 3-4 in a leadership role--Must have experience with usage of a CMMS system and assigning of work orders to mechanics--Must have great maintenance skills-prefer individuals from manufacturing or warehousing/DC environments--Good hydraulic, pneumatic, some electrical and electronic (ladder-logic) skills--Must be a great communicator and willing to do what it takes to get things done--Don't want a job hopper-company will only consider those that are not job hoppersJobs are paying between 75-85k supervisors 85-105k Manager DOE with good bonuses and benefits.
