Darigold is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Spokane, WA location. The Maintenance Mechanic must possess the desire and ability to maintain all plant equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic's role is to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.What You Will DoEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; and monitoring compliance.Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and calibration.Read, understand, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics.General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems.Understand the theory behind process flow.What You Bring:3 yrs. Exp. in mechanical/electrical maintenance or instrumentation certificate.Must be available ALL DAYS, ALL SHIFTS.Nice to Have'sHighly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting, PLCs, electrical controls, and instrumentation.Knowledgeable in the areas of mechanical machinery, steam, boiler, pneumatic & hydraulic operations.Read/understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.Strong team, verbal, and written skills.Sanitary welding experience preferredBoiler Operators license preferred.Benefits of Working at DarigoldWe understand that as an employee, the benefits that support you and your family in and out of work are important.
