2ND SHIFT-MAINTENANCE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and correctly repair production line equipment in timely manner.
* Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment.
* Capable of reading blueprints, manuals, schematic drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
* Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment and powered and non-powered tools.
* Computer literacy.
* Ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and correctly repair facilities and associated equipment in timely manner.
* Must be able to work in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
* Willingness to continually learn and participate in continued education when offered.
* Understanding and compliance to Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safe practices.
* Review and initiate continuous improvement projects.
* Self-starter, motivated, trustworthy and dependable.
* Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
* G.E.D. or High School Diploma.
* Technical School or Apprenticeship training is a plus but not required.
* Documented On the Job training is a plus but not required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Office environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, computers, telephones, desks, temperature controlled.
* Manufacturing environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, metal working fluid mist, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Ability to sit for short periods of time to complete required reports.
* Ability to move about the plant in both the office and manufacturing areas.
* Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
* Manual dexterity for computer work.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to walk for long periods of time.
