POSITION DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this position is to provide maintenance of plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and maintenance welding.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement* Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety* Possess the required tools* Be able to properly & safely use hand tools* Operate MC Cart, Fork Lift and Man Lift* Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.)* Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS* Other duties as assigned.PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS:* Possess a valid US Driver's License* Able to work any shift* Good verbal and written communication skills* Experience working in industrial environment* High School Diploma or GED* Able to perform physical labor* Authorized to work in the United States* Have verifiable experience or schooling in the Industrial Mechanical Field* Score at least 40% on the Mechanical Maintenance Technician test* Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement* Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety* Possess the required tools* Be able to properly & safely use hand tools* Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.)* Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS* Competent in Requirements of the Mechanical Maint. Agreement.Night shift 3-11pmOvernight Shift 11-7pm
