The Opportunity
As the Maintenance Technician II you will perform basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including: work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. You will assist all other Facilities Mechanics with more complex maintenance responsibilities. You will work onsite at the Suffolk FC and report to the Facilities Area Manager.

Your Impact
* Facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair. Perform repairs on dock doors, dock locks, and dock plates to resolve problems and ensure successful operation. Escort and assist outside vendors.
* Perform repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment.
* Support planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment.
* Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter.
* Participate in team activities around Kaizen events and other continuous improvement plans.
* Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data.
What You Bring
* High School graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
* 1-3 years' experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Can repeatedly lift 50 pounds
