Fidelis Logistics, a leading company in 3PL Pallet Recycling, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to oversee the refurbishment of CHEP pallets. Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  • 1-3 years as a maintenance mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • HS diploma or vocational training in industrial mechanics/electrical.
  • Basic welding skills.
  • Experience with Megamation and PM scheduling is a plus.
  • Proficient in using CMMS.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines.
  • Inspect and listen to machines to locate malfunctions.
  • Dismantle machines and equipment using hand/power tools.
  • Inspect, measure, and test parts for wear and alignment issues.
  • Realign and adjust components using hand tools.
  • Repair air hydraulic pipes and install new ones.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems, lighting, transformers, and wiring.
  • Troubleshoot relay logic, control components, motor starters, and PLC programs.
  • Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment.
  • Modify robot motion commands using a controller teach pendant.
  • Operate metalworking tools for making or repairing parts.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians on complex problems.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
