Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- 1-3 years as a maintenance mechanic.
- Strong knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- HS diploma or vocational training in industrial mechanics/electrical.
- Basic welding skills.
- Experience with Megamation and PM scheduling is a plus.
- Proficient in using CMMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines.
- Inspect and listen to machines to locate malfunctions.
- Dismantle machines and equipment using hand/power tools.
- Inspect, measure, and test parts for wear and alignment issues.
- Realign and adjust components using hand tools.
- Repair air hydraulic pipes and install new ones.
- Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems, lighting, transformers, and wiring.
- Troubleshoot relay logic, control components, motor starters, and PLC programs.
- Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment.
- Modify robot motion commands using a controller teach pendant.
- Operate metalworking tools for making or repairing parts.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians on complex problems.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
