For more specifics, please visit our benefits page These DAY SHIFT positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm Learn more about us at our Fiber Glass Systems WebpageThis entry-level Maintenance position is located in Waycross, GA, and ensures safe and efficient plant operation through repair, fabrication and installation of new equipment while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown• Work on assigned projects• Fabricate and install new equipment• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program• Troubleshoot equipment• Utilize safe work habits• Wear appropriate PPE• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures• Other duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS• High School diploma or equivalent• Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools preferredJOB REQUIREMENTS• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required• Standing up to 12 hours daily • Walking up to 12 hours daily • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily• Travel less than 10%BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES• Dependability/Attendance• Problem Solving/JudgementTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES• Ability to read precision gauges• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operationsOur ValuesWe are a Global Family.
