Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to detect and rectify malfunctions.
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks to enhance machine efficiency and longevity.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to implement new machinery and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Documenting maintenance and repair work for future reference.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the plastic or packaging industries.
- Proven ability to inspect, service, repair, and maintain various types of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with a keen eye for detail.
- A degree or certificate in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
