This role involves maintaining, diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment, covering both electrical and mechanical aspects. The Maintenance Mechanic will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining detailed records of all work performed.Key Responsibilities:
- Practice safety and maintain an orderly work environment.
- Read and interpret schematics.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Repair machinery, equipment, and structural components as needed.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document results as directed by the Supervisor.
- Request necessary parts by identifying part numbers from manufacturer catalogs, the parts room, or online resources.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members to support company goals.
- Follow established safety protocols, including the use of PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and Hazard Communication (HazCom).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
