Maintenance MechanicCurrently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the Marseilles, IL area. Hiring immediately.Pay(PAID WEEKLY): $25-$35/HR. Overtime available but not necessary.Shift: All shifts available. Candidates will train on 1st shift.1st- 7am-3pm (M-F)2nd- 3pm-11pm (M-F)3rd- 11pm-7am (Sun-Th)Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield (Medical, Dental, Vision)Job Description:General working knowledge of diesel engines, fuel management systems, hydraulic systems associated with large industrial fork trucks, computerized band saws for cutting mild carbon steel, CNC Oxy Fuel burning machines, blaster, and plasma machines is required.Must be able to read prints and schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, and repair defective equipment such as yard trucks, trailers, large forklifts, and overhead cranes.Repairing, installing, and adjusting industrial machinery, working with remote-controlled overhead cranes, welding, diesel engines, and over-the-road flatbed trailers with DOT requirements.Knowledge of electrical operations throughout the facility is essential, along with the ability to inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they are functional and up to code.Ability to determine the reasons for any malfunctions and create maintenance or repair plans, repair electrical systems, review blueprints, assemble and install electrical panels, and perform periodic maintenance and repairs on all company property and equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor.Coordination with multiple areas of the warehouse and coworkers to complete tasks, maintaining compliance with safety requirements, and showing initiative to proactively seek out work are also key responsibilities.Must be an enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude, committed to a respectful workplace, and dependable in terms of attendance and punctuality.Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on business needs, and the candidate may need to perform other warehouse tasks or special projects as specified by management.Work Environment:Outside work environment: cold, rain, snow etc. Working outside majority of the time.All applicants will be contacted within 24-48hrs of applying.
