Job Description:
Responsibilities
  • Perform both scheduled and emergency repairs on production equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks, document findings, and report any deficiencies.
  • Inspect, test, clean, and lubricate machinery and equipment components.
  • Dismantle and repair defective machines and install new parts.
  • Work with electrical apparatus and electronic components.
  • Operate various machine tools for repairs and fabrication.
  • Maintain logs for breakdowns and repairs for preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
  • Work as part of a team to support departmental and company goals.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in maintenance, with a background in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand refrigeration systems.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Work Schedule:
  • Must be available to work any five days, including weekends and holidays.
