We pay well...you will come in at the top rate of $33.06 per hour!

We operate a continuous operation (24/7) and have various shift opportunities. Shift differentials are available for off-shifts. Morgan believes in Work/Life Balance and has a no forced overtime for our hourly associates!

You will help maintain equipment and processes for a manufacturer of a wide variety of products which support critical industries such as Space, Defense, Power Generation, and more!

Responsibilities:

Job Purpose: Maintain all mechanical equipment within the plant and ensure proper running conditions including all safety devices are in proper working order; utilize skills to troubleshoot and repair all equipment including:

  • hydraulic units
  • pneumatics equipment
  • steam lines and components

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluate opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Provide technical support for all mechanical process equipment
  • Perform moderate to complex installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and components such as pumps, gear boxes, drive units, conveyors, and other mechanical devices
  • Responsible for the integrity and maintenance of plant mechanical equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision but also with others in a team environment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment
  • Provide technical training to all Mechanics
  • Ability to fabricate parts and guarding for production equipment while utilizing welders, propane torches, brakes, drills, and other equipment as needed
  • Participates in planning and implementing new projects by working with and communicating all progress on upgrades, new installations, and changes to the equipment to appropriate personnel
  • Maintains appropriate documentation for process by ensuring that written manufacturing instructions exists for all processes
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 6 years' experience within the industrial maintenance field or a Journeyman's card.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong technical background and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Candidates must be a US Person, defined as an individual that is a:

  • Citizen of the United States, or
  • Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
  • Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
  • Must adhere to the Morgan Technology Transfer Control Plan, government regulations, and company procedures
  • Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)
