- Works as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
- Accept and complete all assignments in a cooperative manner and hold yourself accountable for achieving results.
- Maintain buildings as scheduled to the satisfaction of the residents, and the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform Preventative maintenance task as directed from the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Be able to work by yourself or with others.
- Be able to perform general upkeep of the buildings and their infrastructure.
- Ensure that the facilities are safe and functional at all times.
- Remove snow from sidewalks, parking areas, and streets.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all Bridgewater Retirement Community Buildings
- Assists in orientation of new team members.
- Neat and professional appearance with good hygiene practices.
- Reports all hazardous conditions, equipment problems, and accidents to maintenance leadership.
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, dress code, and code of conduct.
- Attends and actively participates in maintenance trainings.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must treat residents, family, guests, and coworkers with kindness, respect, and demonstrates excellent customer service.
- Criminal background check, drug screen must be completed and acceptable prior to starting work.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Maintenance experience
- High School education or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Qualified candidates must be 18 years or older, and have collaborative communication skills, work well with others and independently, and serve as a role model and leader to the team.
