Recruiting Solutions is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading fire protection products manufacturer in Liberty, South Carolina! Join a dynamic team committed to quality and innovation. This 2nd shift position offers competitive pay of $24 to $28 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift premium, along with comprehensive benefits! Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM Benefits included: Medical, Dental, Vision, and FSA available from the 1st of the month following your start date. 401k with company match available from the 1st of the month after 90 days of employment. Climate-controlled, clean manufacturing facility. Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain complex and high precision numerical control machine tools. Develop continuous improvement actions using TPM/TPR concepts. Rebuild and overhaul components such as gearboxes, tool changers, cylinders, index units, motors, and pumps. Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic system components such as pumps, valves, regulators, cylinders, and lines. Troubleshoot and replace electrical devices such as contactors, input/output cards, and solenoids. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and offline testing of components to ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with personnel and contractors on installing new machines, rebuilding, overhauling, and complex repairs. Promote a safe workplace by adhering to all safety rules, procedures, and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Perform other duties as directed. Maintenance Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications: Proficiency with CNC, electronic control apparatus, and machine tool operations, drives, and controls. Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean concepts, TPM, and TPR. Strong team player, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. Associate Degree in Mechatronics and/or related field. 5+ years of diversified machining and repair work.
