Scheduled days will vary, schedule might change when business needs require it. Rotating, On-Call weekend.Compensation: $30.34 - $38.01/hourEssential Functions:Perform a variety of installations and preventative maintenance on plant and facility equipment.Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including electrical and plumbing, ensuring equipment is in good repair and in a safe operating condition.Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair pumps, boilers, steam system, water system, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, and any fluid system as applicable.Be familiar with the plant facility and general operations of same.Handle tools and equipment properly and use required protective gear.Perform light welding, grinding and cutting.Comply with all Federal State and Company Safety Guidelines and procedures.Participate in the development of preventative maintenance procedures for various pieces of equipment.Responsible for wastewater treatment operations.Work with little supervision.Some overtime and/or weekend work may be required, as well as holiday work.General:Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.Perform assigned duties following Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Perform all other related duties as assigned.Requirements/Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.High level of demonstrated mechanical experience and aptitude required.1-3 years' experience with fabrication, welding, and machinery repair.Ability to read wiring diagrams.Strong analytical and computer skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be self-motivated.Experience with PLC troubleshooting, programs, electrical, boilers, refrigeration is a plus.HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
