Title: Maintenance MechanicLocation: Orangeburg NY areaDuration: Contract to possible fulltimeHours: M-F Monday – Friday 2pm-10:30pmStart: ASAPEducation: High School or GEDPreventive Mechanic : 1-2 years of experience Must Haves Peforming Preventive Maintenance- Grease gears and check drive belt tension.Electrical & Electronics knowledge in general (PLC knowledge a plus, not required)Packaging & Filling equipment exp. is a HUGE plus!!Performs the maintenance repair, overhaul and setup of all the plant operating equipment.Responsibilities: Examines and diagnoses plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines, lyophilization and support equipment, stoppering and closure machinery, labeling, packaging and finishing equipment, conveying, transferring and materials handling equipmentReplaces or repairs frozen or worn bearings, broken or worn parts, leaking supply lines and/or systems, gears, shafts, drive sprockets, chains, valves, belts; electrical or mechanical and/or hydraulic drive and/or control systemsDisassembles, cleans, oils, greases, repairs, and reassembles equipment in need of overhaul or as a preventive maintenance procedurePerforms installation, repair and/or maintenance work on plant building facilitiesConstructs offices and relocates office areas as neededRecords, files, maintains and makes readily available all records, logs, parts' lists, suppliers' lists, work records (both performed and to be performed), stock records, manuals and/or all other required maintenance records and/or files relating to all plant operating equipment
