We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations on plant equipment and machinery. This role ensures adherence to company standards and plays a critical role in maintaining product safety, legality, and quality. - Conduct scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
- Respond to and troubleshoot equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns.
- Repair or replace defective parts, motors, controls, and other components.
- Operate Engineering Shop equipment to fabricate required parts as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 2nd Shift schedule 4pm-12:30pm
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics/Electrical Technology, or equivalent training and experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment (food & beverage experience is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with technical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, controls, and HVAC.
- Proficiency in 480V 3-phase industrial power systems.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with various equipment, such as material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, and packaging equipment.
