Job Description:

Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic for our plant operation located in Hager City, WI. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. Production machines and equipment include, but are not limited to overhead cranes, 60' Press, Plasma, Burny (NCC), Radial Drills, Robotic equipment, Long Seamers, Turn Rollers, Welding machines, Air compressors, Forklifts and company diesel trucks.

What You'll Do:

* Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including:

* Engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.

* Production machines and equipment include, but are not limited to overhead cranes, 60' Press, Plasma, Burny (NCC), Radial Drills, Robotic equipment, Long Seamers, Turn Rollers, Welding machines, Air compressors, Forklifts and company diesel trucks.

What You'll Need:

* Mechanical ability to offer quality troubleshooting and repairing of equipment and parts in manufacturing setting.

* Ability to interpret schematic drawings, hardware logic diagrams, PLC Control programs, and motor control circuit diagrams

* Installs, programs or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.

* Experience and understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, welding machines and overhead cranes.

* Working knowledge and experience of 110 to 480 3-phase volts AC and DC control voltage.

* Work with little or no supervision and ability to work well with others in a diverse work setting.

* Able to offer a quick turn-around on repairs while following safety procedures

* Good attendance, available for overtime, change shifts as required to provide proper support

* At least three to five years' experience in repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
