Repairs may include rebuilding/replacement of worn parts, gearboxes, bearings; fabrication to include cutting/welding of sheet metal/pipe for prod. equip. & repairs, ductwork, structures, etc.Preventive maintenance: inspection, cleaning, lubrication, replacement, and repair of worn partsPerform Daily/Weekly/Monthly equipment inspections as outlined by the Maintenance SupervisorTroubleshooting: assembling and disassembling; inspecting mechanical parts; removing, replacing, and repairing defective parts; calibrating; adjusting and aligning equipmentSupport spare parts and equipment inventory management Maintain housekeeping in area of responsibility as per Imerys standardsFollow all Safety procedures while performing duties to include but not limited to LOTO, wearing appropriate PPE for assigned dutiesSkills and Attributes RequirementsMust be able to effectively communicate both orally or writtenMust be able to work shifts as per schedule Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions.Must be able to climb ladders and work in high places.Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassistedWill be required to wear all necessary PPE Education/Experience RequirementsMust have a High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of two years experience in industrial maintenance and repairs Welding certification/experience requiredRigging and equipment handling experience preferred EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job; the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise, outside weather in all conditions and materials used in the process.Frequent walking, standing, and sitting with exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions.Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.Position TypeFull timeandPermanentOnly technical issues will be monitored through the below inbox:recruiting.support@ imerys.comPLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT RESUMES OR APPLICATIONS TO THIS EMAIL, AS THEY WILL NOT BE REVIEWED.
