The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation. This work will be of average to considerable difficulty in the accomplishment of a variety of mechanical maintenance actions.

Requirements:

• Ability to work various shifts/overtime/days per week
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical components including shafts, bearings, gear boxes, pumps, motors, drives, and 3 phase power
• Proficient in repairing and troubleshooting a variety of conveyor systems
• Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic system
• Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics
• Fully computer literate

Preferred:

• Experience with automation and controls troubleshooting and problem solving and practical, mechanical, & electrical aptitude
• Educationally certified through a tech/trade school beyond High School

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
