Job Description:
Jacuzzi Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Valdosta, Georgia. In this role, the Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for installing, assembling machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. You willplay a crucial role in our production processes while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and carry out tasks based on verbal instructions
  • Identify the most effective processes and procedures to maximize the value of completed work
  • Execute welding tasks (mainly MIG) for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, including cutting, heating, and brazing using oxyfuel
  • Operate saws, drill presses, and various small tools
  • Machining basic components as required on mills or lathes
  • Assemble welded parts
  • Annotate engineering drawings
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Propose designs or suggestions for enhancing ongoing projects or tasks
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks as needed
  • Run errands for deliveries and pickups
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
  • 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

RequirementsQualifications:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent
    • Completion of a two-year vocational training program or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
    • Strong fabricating skills are required.
    • Proficiency in measurement techniques is necessary.
    • A solid grasp of setup and fixturing methods is important.
    • The ability to stand for extended periods is required.
    • Must be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and moving heavier items with appropriate equipment.
    • Professional communication and interaction with managers and team members are essential.
    • Applicants must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
    • The ability to consistently produce structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing welds is required.
    • Attendance at educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills may be required.
    • Regularly meet Jacuzzi's expectations for attendance, teamwork, and work ethic.
