Job DescriptionMILLWRIGHTLocation: Clarkfield, MNJob Type: Full-TimeGeneral work schedule: Monday through Friday, hours may varyClassification: Hourly Non-ExemptReports to: Location SuperintendentJOB SUMMARY:The Millwright position consists of working on industrial and agricultural locations doing new construction, performing upgrades, maintenance, and service on facilities, machinery, and equipment.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Efficiently and accurately assist with the installation and maintenance of machinery in factories, power plants, and construction sites
- Adhere to all Prairie Grain Partners' safety policies and procedures in compliance with Company and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNT, DOT, ect.)
- Maintain knowledge of grain storage equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, distributors, augers, spouting, legs, storage bins and tanks, structural towers, catwalks, platforms, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of job sites
- Assist in loading, unloading, lifting, and moving of materials, parts, and tools to and from sites
- Perform welding duties, such as flat, vertical, and overhead stick welding as needed
- Operate hand and power tools and other equipment as required to complete projects
- Perform assigned tasks to time standards and quality expectations
- Assist crew with clean-up and housekeeping duties around job site, trucks, and trailers ensuring job sites are clean and orderly
- Maintain professional, respectful relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations
- Assist other operations teams' members for job completion and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to legally work in the United States
- English proficiency
- Approved pre-employment drug screen
- 3 years' experience in welding, fabrication, industrial equipment installation required
- Manual labor and construction knowledge
- General mechanical ability
- Basic ability to read a tape measure, blueprints and have basic math skills
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and work in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
