Responsibilities:
- Collect maintenance requests, analyze, prioritize, and plan activities based on priority, cost, and equipment availability
- Plan and schedule PM activity
- Maintain and improve PM database (SAP PM Module)
- Review daily production downtime and add or adjust PM plans to reduce production problems
- Facilitate communication between maintenance and production departments
- Improve PM routines to maximize production efficiency and minimize break-down interventions
- Maintain tracking of maintenance supplies used during regular maintenance
- Improve stores operation and procedure with a careful, proactive approach to spare part asset management
- Order parts and service and create new part numbers as needed
- Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports as needed
- Occasionally serve as backup to Maintenance Supervisor as needed
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum seven (7) years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP PM Module preferred)
- Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations and standards
- Knowledge of standard maintenance practices
- Computer skills in MS Windows environment; Moderate skills with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
