Position Summary:

The Maintenance Planner is a key member of maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. He/She will work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure the smooth functioning operations of the designated area. The Maintenance Planning Specialist will also be responsible for transforming raw manufacturing data into reports to assist in facilitating informed decision-making for the Maintenance team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Organize diverse sets of data to identify trends, formulate hypotheses, and contribute to the design of prediction models
  • Collaborate on daily, weekly, and monthly department reports, covering safety, quality, production, and KPIs
  • Maintain a cross-functional schedule for meetings, training, team-building and assigned projects
  • Serve as a communication bridge between the shop floor and support functions
  • Ensure compliance with the requirement of the Quality Management System and relevant regulations
  • Facilitate tasks such as writing, scheduling, and inspecting employee training needs, cost improvement initiatives, and departmental work culture enhancement suggestions
  • Handle the ordering of department consumable materials while managing accounting process in collaboration with the finance department
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old
  • Associate Degree
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Manufacturing environment, preferably in Automotive Industry
  • 3 years of proven expertise in data analytics
  • Supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement systems and hands-on experience in lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Certifications/proven skills in Excel, VBA, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other data tools

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Compensation

68,000- 88,000

Salary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
