Job DescriptionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIESGenerates and distributes preventive maintenance (PM) schedules; ensures PMs are properly planned, scheduled, and executedAssists in the initial screening of customer work requests; processes requests into work ordersManages the maintenance stores room; performs periodic cycle count and full stock inventoriesPerforms a quality review and closes PM and remedial work ordersMaintains the maintenance work order filesDocuments maintenance activities within cGMP requirementsPrepares and submits purchase requisitions (PRs) for department employeesOrders parts and supplies for Manufacturing and PackagingUses SAP computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage PM scheduling, preparing PRs, managing the stores room inventory, and closing PM and remedial work ordersAssists the team lead and department manager in coordinating for various contractors supportAssists team lead in initiating and closing work permitsAssists in monitoring work activities of outside contractorsMaintains the department SOP bindersParticipates in required training activitiesCommunicates and collaborates with internal customers on status of work requests and parts order statusDevelop and maintain vendor relationshipsAssists the department manager in developing performance measures using SAP CMMS dataUpdates and publishes department performance measuresOther responsibilities as requested by the department managerQualificationsEXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent GED preferred2-3 years maintenance planning and stores/inventory experienceKnowledgeable of stores and inventory systemsAdvanced skills in using the CMMS for maintenance work orders and stores processesOutstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work with others and without direct supervisionPC Word/Excel and SAP skills requiredPossess outstanding communication skills; able to solve most problems without manager's helpDetailed knowledge of material control/expediting processesCapable of operating material handling equipmentKnowledgeable of maintenance technical terms, blueprint/P&ID reading and estimating a plus.Additional InformationOur Work CultureAsk any employee at Dr. Reddy's why they come to work every day and they'll say, because Good Health Can't Wait.
