  • Generates and distributes preventive maintenance (PM) schedules; ensures PMs are properly planned, scheduled, and executed
  • Assists in the initial screening of customer work requests; processes requests into work orders
  • Manages the maintenance stores room; performs periodic cycle count and full stock inventories
  • Performs a quality review and closes PM and remedial work orders
  • Maintains the maintenance work order files
  • Documents maintenance activities within cGMP requirements
  • Prepares and submits purchase requisitions (PRs) for department employees
  • Orders parts and supplies for Manufacturing and Packaging
  • Uses SAP computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage PM scheduling, preparing PRs, managing the stores room inventory, and closing PM and remedial work orders
  • Assists the team lead and department manager in coordinating for various contractors support
  • Assists team lead in initiating and closing work permits
  • Assists in monitoring work activities of outside contractors
  • Maintains the department SOP binders
  • Participates in required training activities
  • Communicates and collaborates with internal customers on status of work requests and parts order status
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships
  • Assists the department manager in developing performance measures using SAP CMMS data
  • Updates and publishes department performance measures
  • Other responsibilities as requested by the department manager
QualificationsEXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • 2-3 years maintenance planning and stores/inventory experience
  • Knowledgeable of stores and inventory systems
  • Advanced skills in using the CMMS for maintenance work orders and stores processes
  • Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with others and without direct supervision
  • PC Word/Excel and SAP skills required
  • Possess outstanding communication skills; able to solve most problems without manager's help
  • Detailed knowledge of material control/expediting processes
  • Capable of operating material handling equipment
  • Knowledgeable of maintenance technical terms, blueprint/P&ID reading and estimating a plus.
