Position OverviewThe Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and facilities. This role focuses on using best practices in maintenance planning and management to minimize downtime and improve efficiency across operations.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules and plans to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
- Utilize TPM and Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize maintenance processes and reduce waste.
- Analyze data to track KPIs and identify areas for improvement in maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to assess maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
- Manage work order processes from creation to completion, ensuring timely and effective execution of maintenance activities.
- Oversee spare parts management to ensure availability of critical components for maintenance tasks.
- Conduct Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance best practices in all activities.
- Provide training and technical guidance to maintenance staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports related to maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of TPM, SAP EAM, Lean Manufacturing, and maintenance best practices.
- Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt or related methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent skills in scheduling, work order management, and spare parts management.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to track maintenance performance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in compliance and safety practices.
- Ability to train and mentor team members on technical skills and maintenance processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
