Job DescriptionClean Harbors in Woods Cross, UT is looking for a Maintenance Planner. The Maintenance Planner isresponsible for maximizing operational profit through the use of effective planned maintenance. Accountable for the daily preparation of work orders, parts availability inquiries. Schedules all maintenance in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.Why work for Clean Harbors? Competitive wages Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement Positive and safe work environmentsResponsibilitiesWork with internal and outsourced maintenance facilities within the region, and occasionally throughout the USCreate and manage fleet repair orders working closely with the Regional Hub Manager, Asset management, and the internal maintenance organizationWork with Clean Harbors operational groups to target completion of fleet overdue inspections, recalls, and campaignsFollow repair process from repair creation to completion and communicate repair timeline status to all necessary partiesTrack all repairs in the Clean Harbors Asset Management system including repair order notes, quotes, inspection forms, purchase orders, and final invoicesFacilitate maintenance repair requests with management, the internal maintenance organization and vendorsParticipate in the periodic planning meetings with the internal maintenance group and facilitate branch meetingsReview all repair quotations and identify areas where repair cost can be reduced / eliminatedFacilitate transportation of units in need of repair or maintenance as well as completed units being placed back into serviceAssist coworkers with asset management and repair order system issues, Credit card payments, Purchase order, and invoice inquiresOther Duties as AssignedQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience Driver License RequiredPassport and ability to cross international borders is requiredAbility to travl 10%- 25%Strategic planning, coupled with tactical executionStrong leadership and personnel development skillsAbility to work across business lines in a matrixed organizationStrong negotiation skillsKnowledge of fleet maintenance systems and processesAbility to create actionable items out of data and informationAbility to use computer and applicable company software.Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS projectAble to apply standards and processes that maintain regulatory complianceFinancial understanding, with the ability to set strategy against financial goalsUnderstanding of metrics that drive fleet maintenance performanceDemonstrated project and change leadership abilityAbility to facilitate/train others, and ability to navigate and handle difficult conversationsWondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors?
