Job Description:
* Supervise a team of 4 planners, ensuring they are effectively managing their workloads and performance. * Conduct daily morning reviews with the maintenance supervisor and operations lead to assess work orders submitted in the last 24 hours. * Determine which work orders require planning, including ordering parts, assembling documentation, and scheduling tasks for completion. * Facilitate weekly meetings on Thursdays to review backlog and prioritize jobs based on their status. * Ensure that all necessary parts are in stock and maintain a detailed material list for each asset, associating part numbers with specific equipment.Oversee kitting processes, organizing parts lists in designated areas and ensuring timely delivery to machines.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience* Extensive experience in maintenance planning and preventive maintenance work. * Ability to step into the role of planner when needed, especially during vacations or absences. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to track performance metrics. Nice to Have Skills & Experience* Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor is highly beneficial. * Knowledge of automotive industry practices can be an advantage.Familiarity with planning software and tools.
