Pay Grade: 63 ($3,310.00)PLUMBER IIJOB DESCRIPTIONGeneral Statement of job:It requires the ability to work and perform in a particular craft or trade relating toplumbing. Able to perform work based on self-abilities and upon completion, be acceptable inmaterials, workmanship, and appearance.Work should be of a technical nature and could require inspection and passing of buildingcode law. Plumber II is to report to the Plumber Crew Leader.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of the methods, practices, and materials used in Plumbing
maintenance and repair work.
- Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment necessary to work.
- Ability to understand and work from sketches or drawings.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions as assigned.
- Ability to plan and procure materials, and work independently.
- Ability to repair or replace water pipes, sinks, faucets, steam pipes, sewer lines,
and any equipment related to the trade.
- Ability to work under OSHA guidelines and any codes related to the trade.
Additional job Functions or Assigned Tasks.
- The ability to work and perform in a particular craft or trade relating to
Maintenance.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned by the crew leader.
Minimum Training and Experience:
- Completion of High School;
- Three to Five years of experience in the Plumbing trade.
- Completion of courses or workshops in Plumbing or related trade.
- To have a license or the ability to obtain license in the plumbing trade.
Minimum Qualifications or Standards Required to Perform Essential job Functions:
- Physical strength and agility sufficient to climb, move heavy objects and assume
standing, crouching, and lifting positions at frequent intervals.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
Other Requirements:
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record and be punctual.
- Perform work based on self-abilities and upon completion, be acceptable in
materials, workmanship, and appearance. Work should be of a technical natureand could require inspection and passing of building code laws
