Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and Support Maintenance Operations: Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance processes, schedules, and work orders.
- 24/7 On-Call Support: Provide immediate response and resolution to critical facility issues, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for all employees.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of major maintenance projects and construction initiatives.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of materials and equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and quality standards.
- Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with Maintenance Technicians, contractors, vendors, and all levels of personnel across the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot building system issues, effectively recommending and implementing solutions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and report on maintenance data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
Job Requirements:
- State board certified Electrical or HVAC contractor; OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
- Five years of proven facilities maintenance experience (commercial and/or institutional).
- Two years of experience in commercial or institutional building systems.
- Expertise in at least one of the following trades: Electrical, HVAC, or commercial/institutional building maintenance/construction.
- Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
- Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring schemes, and control diagrams.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve facility system issues.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Valid US driver's license.
- Certified/Licensed Electrician a plus.
- Experience with Automated Logic systems a plus.
- Extensive HVAC experience.
