Job Description:
SUMMARYOur Princeton, WV facility is looking for a Maintenance Specialist. The Maintenance Specialist owns the facility's maintenance process. Oversees the upkeep, repair, and installation of various equipment and elements of our facilities. Primary responsibilities include defining and executing maintenance procedures, tracking progress, performing inspections on different facilities to find problems before they arise, and executing maintenance actions that maximize the plant's operational reliability. Job Responsibilities
  • Build a Total Productive Maintenance program engaging all functions of the organization to minimize downtime and include operators in the active preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
  • Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition
  • Implement workplace safety policies and standards
  • Participate in daily morning safety & planning meetings.
  • Prioritize tasks based on plant needs with the ability to change direction when needed.
  • Operate mobile equipment needed as in cranes, forklifts, and loaders.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in equipment.
  • Develop and maintain spares inventory.
  • Ensure all lock-out-tag-out procedures and PPE requirements are followed and appropriate for current industry standards
  • Routinely monitor and check on critical systems routine maintenance plans, and daily PMs.
  • Coordinate setup and tear down of equipment for maintenance activity
  • Coordinate and/or perform major repairs, construction, fabrication, and installation of new plant equipment
  • Work weekends, overtime, and unusual hours during an emergency call-in or if needed.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Journey level of experience in electrical and/or mechanical trades.
  • Experience with CNC equipment.
  • Machine troubleshooting experience.
  • At least four years of fabrication-related maintenance experience.
  • Compressed air and hydraulic experience.
  • Motor and drive installation and alignment experience.
  • Motor testing experience.
  • Basic welding knowledge.
