Responsibilities:This position is responsible for general facilities maintenance including light Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, drywall repair and painting. Also projects involving demolition and renovation, building walls painting projects as well as other responsibilities. Eligible candidates for this position must possess 3 years of relevant experience.
- Respond in a timely manner to work requests
- Maintain records on repairs, painting projects, grounds, building rounds etc.
- Responsible for all equipment, building, and office maintenance for the facility
- Checks climate controls on a daily basis to insure proper heating and cooling
- Responsible to ensure pumps and valves are maintained
- Responsible to ensure back-up generators monthly loads testing is completed and generators are maintained
- Operates hand tools, battery and corded tools and other equipment safely
- Operates various motor vehicles to pick up and deliver office equipment and supplies and is responsible to ensure such equipment is maintained
- Responsible for salting and clearing walkways and emergency exits (shovel, truck w/ plow, skid steer with blower)
- When on call, responds 24 hours/7days/week to any emergency in the Facility.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years related experience working in a maintenance capacity
- Effective Communication Skills; Ability to read and write
