Job Description:
SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the daily maintenance operations of the casinos and/or all other Four Winds owned off-site buildings in accordance with policies and procedures with high standard levels. Trouble shoots problems or breakdowns and provides recommendations for process improvements and resolutions to problems or breakdowns.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Assumes the responsibilities of maintenance of the casinos and/or all other Four Winds owned off-site buildings.This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations in addition to enforcing policies and procedures, including, but not limited to:
  • Strict adherence to OSHA rule and regulation and overseeing safety programs to ensure all employees and guests are provided a safe, hazard free establishment.
  • Conducts inspections of all properties and project areas for efficiency and productivity. •
  • Ensures that all general maintenance and repairs of minor problems throughout the property (s) are promptly and correctly done.
  • Oversees and ensure parts inventory stock.
  • Directly supervises all assigned staff and coordinates maintenance staff throughout the casino(s) to ensure that the approved standards of cleanliness and maintenance upkeep are met. Assists with selections, training, supervisions and evaluates Facilities Department personnel. including training plan development and revision to ensure staffs success. Observing and recording ACES, writing performance reviews, assisting with creating schedules, and assist management in disciplinary recommendations. Maybe required to assists in the responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager in his/her absence.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Directly supervises all assigned staff. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred.Two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education, supervision and experience required.Supervisory experience preferred.HVAC Certification, EPA I & II or Universal license, Certified Pool Operator, RPZ Inspection, Building Controls, Life Safety Controls, CFESA Certification preferred.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Strong organizational and interpersonal skills requiredThis position requires a Level 4 Gaming LicenseLANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.Ability to write effective reports and memos.Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests.Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data from graphs.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee is occasionally required to sit.The employee is regularly required to climb a twelve (12) foot ladder.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation.The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.A casino environment is typically smoky.
