Job Description:
Position Summary: In the position of Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide leadership, direction, and guidance to assigned shift employees for all items related to maintenance, including utilities, processing, packaging, and facilities at the site. Notify, plan, coordinate, and correct any issues that arise in the assigned areas on the assigned shift. Responsible for achievement of the maintenance strategy assigned to the shift personnel. Work with management and floor level employees to better develop areas and drive continuous improvements. Essential Job Functions:
  • Shift Management, Leadership and Decision Making -- Provide guidance and direction to the maintenance team. Follow through on plans provided by management and pass down any updates for the following shift. Train and document new/temporary employees in their areas. Enforce company policies and ensure maintenance personnel follow SOPs and guidelines in key areas such as logging spare parts removed from parts crib, follow preventative maintenance schedules, and advise upper management in a timely fashion when concerns are observed of maintenance problems.
  • Monitoring, Preventative Maintenance and Troubleshooting -- document and report any abnormalities. Monitor utilities areas, production areas, and facilities areas. Ensure completion of shift's assignments with complete thoroughness and ensure all parts used and any findings are properly reported. Troubleshoot equipment problems with maintenance team and be engaged in all areas.
  • Process Improvements -- provide input to changes, work with vendors or contractors on issues. Collaborate with management to improve reliability and efficiency of equipment. Support the maintenance department improvements through supporting the initiatives.
Position Requirements:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Electrical, Mechanical or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance, technical, manufacturing leadership role
  • Additional Experience Desired: of experience in Computer Skills Desired: MS Office, especially in Excel. Knowledge of maintenance programs such as Reliability Centered Maintenance 2, Total Quality Management (TQM), Trusted Platform Module (TPM), or Maintenance Excellence preferred Preferred Certifications: N/A
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Experience working with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)such as Fix, Hippo, eMaint, Assert Manager, etc. preferred
Base Pay Range: 74,000 - 99,000k
