Job Description:

We are recruiting for a 1st shift Refrigeration Lead with supervisory experience and a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to ensure optimal equipment performance, ensuring production goals are met with minimal downtime. Ideally, candidates will be bilingual (Spanish/English) with advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, compressed air, mechanical and electrical fields

RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE + SIGN ON BONUS $5000k

Specifically, Maintenance Supervisors:

  • Ensure installation, repair and preventive maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and timely, working closely with production for minimal downtime.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators for the maintenance function such as: suppliers, vendors, reliability and overall effectiveness
  • Provide long term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment failures. Trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
  • Allocate resources appropriately to accomplish task at hand, such as manpower, tools, and supplies, ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with USDA regulations.
  • Maintains accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.
  • Refrigeration Lead will work out of the Powerhouse and should have extensive experience with ammonia and wastewater.

Ideally, candidates will possess:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in maintenance in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting
  • Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, compressed air, mechanical and electrical fields (e.g. PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, etc.)
  • Ability to lead resource planning efforts in a large manufacturing environment. with knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, inventory and scheduling software..
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

This position offers:

  • $70,000 - $96,000 annual salary
