Maintenance Supervisor Location: TupeloWhat are your main tasks?Grammer is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our in Tupelo, MS. location. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment and have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in our Team! The main tasks of this position are:
  • Support plant safety metric of zero lost time injuries
  • Coordination of maintenance personnel & resources
  • Support project launch strategy
  • Support and maintain equipment repair time line
  • Provide support for all pre-production builds requiring components and/or services from the manufacturing site.
  • Track all work orders thru the maintenance CMMS system
  • Develop & schedule P.M. & PDM orders for facilities and production equipment
  • Review and provide input on new equipment
  • Support schedule mold changes as required by production
  • Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site
  • Support OEE metric improvements for plant operations
  • Work with approved sub-contracted vendors
  • Upkeep of building, grounds, and production equipment
  • Coordinate training and skill improvements within the skilled trades
  • Timely completion and implementation of projects
  • Achieve goals and objectives relating to cost, schedule and timing
  • Achieve project expectation and requirements for all elements of PPAP, IATF 16949 and other elements relating to product launch
  • Overall housekeeping of maintenance shop and all maintenance work areas
  • Efficient supply and distribution of utilities including water, electricity, natural gas, compressed air and waste disposal as related to equipment installation & operation.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
What are your qualifications?
  • Associate degree in engineering or related experience
  • 8 years manufacturing experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and directing skills.
  • Excellent employee relations skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of SAP.
  • ISO/QS9000/TS16949 experience.
  • Ability to successfully interface with customers, and associates.
  • Self motivated and results oriented.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Analytical abilities.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
  • Ability to hear and communicate information from a telephone and personal conversations
  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and PLC (electronics).
