About the Role:
We areworking with a long-established company in the conveyor belt fabrication industry, known for their custom solutions and expertise. The company is seeking a skilled Hands-On Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing team. In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage preventative and emergency maintenance schedules while also actively participating in troubleshooting, fabrication, and maintaining the facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in developing and implementing PM/EM schedules, as well as programming PLC's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of PM/EM schedules, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Fabricate and customize conveyor belts for a variety of clients.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and program machinery using PLC systems, VFDs, HMI systems, and other controls.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance (PMs) on all machinery, as well as emergency maintenance (EM) when needed.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage (up to 480V) systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Handle hydraulic systems and mechanical repairs as required.
- Perform welding and fabrication to customize and maintain equipment.
- Measure parts with precision tools like calipers to ensure accurate setup and maintenance.
- Support facility maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
Required Experience:
- Strong skills in PLC programming, troubleshooting conveyor belts, machinery, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with low and high voltage electrical systems, HMIs, VFDs, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to weld and fabricate as part of equipment customization and maintenance.
- Expertise in developing and following preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ability to perform precise measurements using tools like calipers.
