We are in search of a dedicated, experienced, and reliable Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our maintenance operations, ensuring our construction projects are not only completed on time but also meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
This role calls for a professional who has a solid background in building maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively. If you are a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities.
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Coordinate with other departments in the company to ensure that all maintenance services are done promptly and effectively.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keep a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and keep a track of all equipment and assets.
- Ensure that all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines.
- Train, supervise, and manage the maintenance team.
- Coordinate with the team to plan and allocate work assignments.
- Evaluate the performance of the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance supervisor role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in building maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; competence in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
- Proven ability to use common electrical and manual tools.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- BSc/Ba in business administration or facility management will be considered a plus.
- Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
