The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management of the Energy-from-Waste facility for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation control activities. This includes long-term and daily planning, scheduling of all maintenance activities on boilers, turbine generators, material handling and balance of plant equipment. This position is responsible to directly supervise mechanics, technicians, and contractors performing preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as outage projects. Must possess the ability to create an environment that empowers employees to drive system improvements as well as be able to train employees on proper maintenance work and troubleshooting. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing the annual budgeting information and monthly forecasting updates. Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. Candidates without a relevant bachelor's degree must have 7+ years of relevant technical skills acquired through progressive roles in an industrial maintenance environment or in a military setting, with personnel supervision or management experience. Practical field experience involving equipment installation, maintenance, overhaul, and operation.Knowledge of steam plant operation, and reference knowledge of applicable standards, for example, ASME, NBIC, NEC.Proficiency in MS Office, especially with Excel (spreadsheets, modeling, and pivot tables), Outlook, and use of inventory management software, PeopleSoft ALM experience desirable.High level of knowledge and experience with maintenance management or asset management enterprise system.Ability to communicate effectively and easily with management/ employees at different levels of the organization.Locations:- Alexandria, VA- Harrisburg, PA Compensation: $100 - $120k Base Salary +16% Bonus Potential + 401k Match + Full Comprehensive Benefits Package!
