Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Initially, you will be trained on the company's safety systems and how they integrate into existing equipment at the client's manufacturing plant. The second part involves using this information to conduct energy analysis aimed at lowering usage and decreasing costs. The company provides products and services, including machinery safety upgrades and a variety of other safety-related solutions. We seek someone with hands-on knowledge of equipment and electrical circuits/schematics. The company will train you to integrate electronic safety systems into existing electrical schematics. You will follow projects through to actual installation, which could involve up to 30% travel, primarily in SE Michigan but also potentially out of state. Responsibilities include assisting in the design of machinery safety systems, analyzing existing manufacturing systems, and helping decide on safety systems to add protection. You may help build electrical control panels, serve as a technical point of contact during installations, participate in system safety testing, startups, and validation, and provide on-site troubleshooting. Continuous communication with the project team is essential to inspire confidence in your ability to provide customer solutions.

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Flint, Michigan.

Work Environment

35% of the time in the office reviewing electrical diagrams, circuits, sensors, and switches. 35% in the build area receiving hands-on training with electrical safety systems and building electrical panels. 30% in the field, both in-state and out-of-state, assisting customers with installations and energy analysis
