Our client, a well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.Job Title: Maintenance SupervisorPosition Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee the maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems that support our production processes. You will be responsible for directing maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, and optimizing team productivity to minimize downtime.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure continuous support for production operations.Oversee and prioritize maintenance tasks, assigning work orders to ensure timely completion.Conduct equipment repairs and preventative maintenance during non-production hours.Monitor and maintain daily productivity, ensuring the team remains engaged and efficient.Perform weekly reviews of completed work orders to track progress and address any issues.Manage the maintenance labor budget, finding ways to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.Approve time clock punches, vacation requests, and manage staff scheduling, including coverage for absences and vacation periods.What We're Looking For: An experienced leader who can maintain a productive, motivated maintenance team while minimizing production downtime and ensuring cost-effective operations.Job Requirements:Education & Experience: An Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a similar setting, managing multi-craft maintenance teams. Equivalent experience and knowledge may be considered in lieu of a degree.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and practical experience in electrical, mechanical, and programming repairs is required.Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic PC applications, particularly spreadsheet and word-processing software, is preferred.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to identify problems, analyze options, and implement effective solutions.Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels within the organization.Organizational Ability: Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and ensuring timely completion.ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
