Job Opportunity: Maintenance Supervisor – Village at Linwood Condo Community
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our well-established condominium community of 188 units. This key role involves responding to and assisting the board of directors and residents with maintenance issues, including minor repairs, upkeep, and general support to ensure the community remains in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to resident service requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Perform minor repair work in common areas (residents are responsible for the interior of their own units), including painting, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
- Inspect common areas regularly and ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with seasonal tasks, such as power washing, cleaning gutters, pool and tennis courts, managing landscaping, and preparing for weather changes.
- Supervise and coordinate outside contractors when necessary for larger projects or specialized repairs.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring necessary materials are always available.
- Assist in maintaining building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and conduct routine inspections.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in maintenance or as a building superintendent, preferably in a condo or apartment setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, resident-focused attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required for certain duties).
